Swine what?

Ok, so, in Idaho, there was almost no cell reception, and barely internet access, so in the 6 days I was gone, they invented a new thing for me to be afraid of?

What is swine flu, and why should I overreact to it like everyone is telling me to?

It's the newest gimmick for news sources to sell their product.

It's not like people falling dead of an easily survivable and/or preventable disease is uncommon in third world countries.

Swine flu is a special kind of flu that has the exact same symptoms as the asian flu, and is treated exactly the same as the asian flu.

What makes it special is the fact that the talking heads on the news now have an excuse to not talk about the .gov takeover of the American Automobile Industry or any of the other crap that is coming off of Capitol Hill.

SARS masks are the new black.

It's the flu... if you aren't under the age of 5 or over the age of 70, you don't have much to fear.

"You never want a serious crisis to go to waste, and what I mean by that is an opportunity to do things that you didn't think you could do before."

Perspective from CNN? HA! for once. They must be sick or something...

36000 US Citizens die from the "regular" flu every year...Worldwide, the annual death toll is between 250K-500K...9 out of 10 are people older than 65 and most times they already have health problems that the flu makes worse.

Hmmm!?

While hopey-one-kenobi is talking smack about tea parties and his minions fling flu-poo. OOOo I'm afraid.
