"Yeah, we all know she wasn't doing anything bad, but the law says I gotta arrest and charge, so I'm arresting and charging her."

Then the Sheriff basically says,
"Yeah, we all know she wasn't doing anything bad, but drugs are bad, m'kay?"

Let that sink in.

They BOTH AGREE the grandmother had no intent to make drugs.

They BOTH AGREE the grandmother was innocent of the intent.

But by the letter of the law, they must charge this innocent grandmother.


WHO THE FUCK WAS THIS LAW WRITTEN FOR THEN?!


Like I said earlier;

Hey, if you want to win the war on drugs, you've got to break a few eggs. And if you're still not winning, you just need to break more eggs. And if you STILL aren't making any difference, well shit, you better hire some more people to keep breaking eggs until something happens.
