"The only thing he had on was a pair of socks," Weaver said. "And they had duct-taped his hands, his wrists. He had duct tape over his eyes, and they gagged him with a red rag or something.
"And they even had duct tape around his neck. And they had like his identification tag on his neck. They had it duct-taped to the side of his neck, on the right side, almost on his right shoulder."
Police would not substantiate the witness's report.
Unless this guy was into bondage (they're supposed to be able to tie themselves up) (the things we learn from the David Carradine story), seems like the possibility of suicide is gone.
Is this the beginning of crazy right-wing violence? Or illicit drug makers striking back?
Dunno. But many of the oddities of this story remain.

I've seen reports (supposedly verified by the authorities, unlike stories like this that are not) that have him on the ground and not hanging, but certainly asphyxiated.
He had been dead for several days (his missing persons report was from the 10th or 11th) and in an area well known, not for right wing fundies as Kos and Co. would imply, but Meth Labs and Wakus Weedus plots.
And he was warned about this.
