What does a trillion dollars look like?

Ok, right now, close your eyes imagine you standing next to a thousand dollars in $100 bills, lying on the ground in front of you.
Pretty easy right?

Now do $10,000.
Not too hard, right?

Now a million dollars.
Still possible for most of us, and probably pretty accurate.

Now a billion.
More difficult, more likely to be inaccurate.

Now a trillion!
I know it seems like too much, but just take a guess. Just pretend you are standing in an open area, with 1 trillion dollars in front of you. How much space would it take up?

Now check your answers.

How right were you?

Next time you hear "million," "billion," or even "trillion" uttered by a politician or talking head, just remember how much money it is.
