Bush's sinister touch remains! ... As Obama's middle class tax cuts.

Everyone keeps talking about the Obama pulling the middle class tax cut from his budget.

I just remembered something...

This isn't a tax cut.

Because taxes are not being cut.

This is a failure to EXTEND the Bush tax cuts for the middle class.

If Obama doesn't give the middle class its "tax cut" it doesn't mean your taxes stay the same, it'll mean your middle-class taxes will go up.

Interesting how hard you have to search to find any mention of Obama's amazing tax cut, really being the dastardly Bush's tax cut.

But this is a standard play.

California legislature does this too. They "cut spending," by removing planned spending from the next budget.

So, you say you're going to spend 1 million dollars on pudding snacks next year, and decide not to. You've just made the "tough decision," and reduced your spending by 1 million dollars.

Then, you can issue a press release claiming you've already cut 1 million dollars, that spending is already cut to the bone, and the only way to get out is to tax, tax, tax.

Obviously someone was paying attention.
