It occurs to me that if an official tornado touches down in southern California, the great weather can no longer be a reason stay here.

we've had tornadoes in So.Cal. before, but they ususally blow patio furniture around, break a few windows, and such as that. They aren't the Midwest mesocyclone monsters that prowl Tornado Alley.
Shows you how little experience I have with inclement weather. To me "tornado" is synonymous with dashed houses and torn paths through the Earth.
I suppose I meant one of those tornadoes.
