This made me angry

Driving into work today I saw a bumper sticker on an expensive Lexus.
Resist - Don't Enlist

I can neither confirm nor deny utterance of the C word before I could catch myself.

For shame, what sort of internet journalist are you? That calls for photographs of the offending vehicle and sticker, WITH license plate, to be widely distributed across the ether. Even cell pix would work.

Then again, perhaps she's one of these folks who use that slogan, and would just welcome the publicity. What's a Young Communist doing driving a Lexus, though?

She's stupid. #1 for having an overpriced Toyota. #2 for her bumper sticker. You know if the C word came out of your mouth, it is understandable. I'm guessing she was a bad driver too?

I don't understand why you would be angry about this. I mean, honestly, do EITHER of us really want people whose thinking can be swayed by a bumper sticker in our military?

Seems to me like it's just weeding out the dumber ones.

The point is not that the bumper sticker was meant to change the minds of people ready to join up, the point was to make her beliefs known.

She was enjoying her cushy life with her expensive car, and apparently of the belief that we'd be better off without a standing army.

Perhaps she'd prefer to be speaking German right now.

Maybe she just disagrees with one of the wars you have going on.
Or is being anti war unamerican?

I'm sorry Subby, I can't hear you over the rustling sound of the giant strawman you erected.
