Apparently the California Voter Guide will exclude an important note on Prop 1A.
Even though plenty of anti tax organizations and republicans submitted opposition statements, Democrat Darrell Steinberg of Sacramento decided to give the task of writing the opposition statement to Democrat Loni Hancock of Berkeley.
And wouldn't you know it? The opposition statement in the voter guide leaves out a teeny tiny bit of information...
$14 billion in taxes.
Why would they feel the need to engage in this trickery? I thought the public were supportive of these tax increases!
I hope this gets out, and people realize what they've voting for...
