Finally, the adjective “well-regulated” implies nothing more than the imposition of proper discipline and training.
Now I don't have to ever trudge up that hill convincing people that "regulated" doesn't mean regulation!

I hate having to explain to idiots that the word "regulate" in the 18th century with regards to militias meant to train and standardize, rather than our current common use of "regulate" meaning congress fucking over whatever businesses they don't like.
