I read e-books almost exclusively. I just use the HTML versions. When I did some First Reader stuff for one of Baen's potential authors, I used the RTF as that is what the writers use, and I could note on it and the author could correct, or change the section. Hopefully that one gets back on track soon. It got held up as the other co-author is too damned busy being on TV, teaching (he is a prof), and co-writing a far more popular series with a different author. I want my Red Shirt dammit.
I love Baen though. I've been going through some of the Grantville Gazette e-books lately, and need to catch up on the 163x series. (behind on them, and a new one is due soon)
I downloaded the RTF, opened it in open office, and exported it to pdf, as it is my preferred reading format.

and I love that Baen gives out the CDs every so often. And they have no DRM crap on the disks, or e-books.
